Chamaemelum nobile (Anthemis nobilis) ‘Treneague’ does best with very low amounts of water. Also, if you sheet mulch with cardboard and a layer of weed free topsoil you can avoid having to weed. The cardboard acts as a pre-emergent by rotting the weeds seeds in the first 2-3 inches of soil under the cardboard. If you keep the weeds from surrounding areas under control (pull before seeding) you can have a relatively effort free lawn experience.
